Understanding time at 33 years old.

It seems to me that I'm starting to understand why some watch models are so expensive.

But I love my Fitbit for measuring my activity in steps and displaying texts.

However, some watch models are quite expensive. Time flies, and we haven't invented a time machine yet.

Traveling extends life, by the way. The secret lies in the quantity of emotions and experiences per unit of time. A few years ago, I spent 90 days and traveled halfway across America by car. After 90 days, I could recall what I did every single day of those 90 days in chronological order. That's why life is measured not so much in years but in the richness of each day. Every day is a very important part of life. Friends and sports also extend life. Turning off the TV at home because it shortens life.

Children definitely extend life. And here, the thought loops back on itself, and I feel like I'm starting to understand why some watch models are very expensive. I'm so glad I have a son, and lately, I've been thinking a lot about the strategy for having more children, a secret known only to me.

Time is not just money, although the cost of expensive watches is expressed in money. Does this mean that watches are a symbol of time?

Making the right choices also extends life. Spend 5 minutes, and there's a temptation to spend an hour. Then habits. A person, you could say, is a set of walking habits. Or a walking set of habits. Some habits are impossible to unlearn. What new habit to learn? What to stop doing, and what to do instead? Who to stop communicating with – that's the question... All people are smart enough to understand what they should do, but most are dumb enough not to do it. That's why I like immigration. Many opportunities arise to unlearn old habits and learn new ones. It's a complicated thing. It's also a journey that extends life.

I've never been to a job interview that lasted more than 5 minutes. That's why no one has ever asked me where I see myself in 5 or 10 years. Although I ask myself that question regularly. The thought comes back to time, to the constantly growing number of interests in life, the need to focus and not do many things that I really like. Life is a constant filter of what to do, who to communicate with, what to think about, and all of this should not only bring pleasure today but also strategically provide pleasure in the form of results in 5 or 10 years.

Perhaps I'll print a picture of expensive watches and frame it in my office. I like visual reminders of my values. Sunday is a wonderful day of the week, and it contains 24 expensive hours.
